Best agency ever, best guide 

traveled to Iran with my wife in August 2022. The Uppersia travel agency organized a week-long trip for us to the most famous sights of Iran - Teheran, Shiraz, Persepolis, Isfahan and Kashan. The main manager of the agency Mahnaz prepared everything excellently, including entry visas, and our guide Seyed Ali Mohammad Hosseini was simply amazing. He is not an ordinary tour guide but a person who taught tourism management at the university of Shiraz and most of the other tour guides in and around Shiraz are his students or colleagues. He has a lot of respect among them. He is a highly educated person who tries to react to your points of interest - for example, he invited one of Iran's greatest scholars of ancient writings, who explained the inscriptions in Persepolis to us. Our driver Abas was the most patient and calm person we have ever met. He drove us through the crazy Iranian traffic absolutely safely. Our accommodation - ambient hotels in Isfahan and Shiraz - was great and at the same time affordable. If you want to go to Iran, we recommend the Uppersia agency and especially Seyed Ali Mohammad Hosseini

Great experience overall
I recently took a 12 day tour of Iran and overall the experience was a good one. My guide was Seyed Ali Mohammad Hosseini, and he was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. He was a big help in making the trip as smooth as possible and did more than he needed to in order to make the trip memorable. He will become a good friend by the end of the trip.

It's not very easy to get into Iran as an American, so the opportunity to visit is quite special and I'd recommend anyone reading this to give it a try. Another benefit of having a guide even if you don't require one is the knowledge of the currency situation and navigating a country that is more difficult than others.

Perhaps the only critique I would have is that we had more "down time" than I expected. Some days the program was quite short. It felt like a 9 or 10 day tour built into a 12 day tour. However for some people this maybe desirable since Iran can be very hot and resting is important. So just talk to the company and inquire about your specific desires, everyone is different and wants different things.

To sum things up, this is a good company and if you get Ali, he will give you knowledge of Iran that you can't get easily from the outside.

we were 4 people in our tour and we asked mahnaz to conduct this tour on exclusively private basis. 
we Enjoyed a great experience, being safely driven around. our tour was mainly exploring the highlights of Iran. 
Our tour guide seyed ali mohammad hosseini was fabulous, informative, friendly and caring. 
Ali took us to some really interesting places and gave us context by explaining the meaning or history behind them. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. It really felt like we got off the beaten track a little and experienced some unique places in Iran.
Would definitely highly recommend Uppersia as they made our tour hassle free and nice way of seeing parts of Iran. The tour was reasonably priced and very flexible.

My husband and i recently visited iran. While we were looking for iranian travel companies, we found uppersia  in Tripadvisor. The reviews were great and now I can surely say that they are one of the best travel agency in iran.The team coordinating very fast and informative,our tour guide was Seyed ali mohammad hosseini.

ali was kind, very patient, flexible and his time was ours to do whatever we want. We decided together what we should see and how long his time was going to be with us.

His knowledge of all things it was quite amazing. he had a great way of putting it across. he had a great personality and was very very personable. By the end of the tour we felt we were friends rather than clients.he was obviously very well known by many people.he always make sure that you will enjoy every single day of your tour. 

In addition, iranian's cuisine was one of the best all their food are so tasty, people are so nice, the place is safe  and the view was breath-taking.

If you are planning to visit iran, Uppersia is the perfect company. They will make you fall in love with iran, with an affordable price you will be able to visit all the famous tourist spots in iran.

As an american travler it is not easy to travel to iran on your own so you need one travel company to arrange every thing for you.

Everything was planned perfectly. i had a great time doing this trip and i also take a lot of memories home because ali took amazing pictures of me . Thank you for this experience !

Our trip with seyed ali mohammad hosseini was fantastic. He was the perfect guide: helpful, polite, well informed and responded to our every need.

We had a wonderful introduction to this marvelous country.

Ali and our perfect driver Milad took us to the ancient site of Persepolis and the other sites of Shiraz and Kerman, the Persian gardens, the Kalout desert, a caravansarai, fantastic mosques and palaces in Eshfahan Kashan and Tehran.

Ali guided us to restaurants that served vegetarian food, and shopping for special items.

We will definitely use Uppersia and Ali for our next trip to Iran.

“Great time in Iran”
I went solo to Iran through Uppersia and everything went perfectly. It was the only agency I could find that quoted me a price I could afford for a 9 day trip. seyed ali mohammad hosseini, my guide was very easy to get along with; he was efficient, calm, patient, had a good sense of humor and went above and beyond to make the trip enjoyable. He took me to sights and events I never would've found out about on my own and always gave me enough space and freedom. No complaints, only compliments.

Anyone reading this will already know that Iran is perfectly safe to visit. The people were always friendly and courteous and seemed to take a genuine interest that I was enjoying myself in their country. As a Canadian, eveything in Iran was different and fascinating to me. The heat, the traffic, the food, the architecture, the history, the customs, the traditions, the politics - everything was interesting. If you have any interest in how other people in the world live their lives, I recommend Iran.

Amazing 18-day trip!

 

I just had a wonderful 18-day tour of Iran through Uppersia! My guide, Seyed Ali Mohammed Hosseini was kind, highly informative and willing to go beyond duty in accomodating me. He even helped me to improve my Farsi! Our drivers, Alireza and Milad, were also excellent! I also think that Alireza will make a fine tour guide, as
is his aspiration. I wish Alireza, Ali Mohammed and Milad well and am glad that I chose to take my trip through Uppersia.

I, an American (went on a weeklong tour of Tehran with my British friend. UpPersia, office manager Mahnaz, and our guide Seyed Ali Mohammad Hosseini were nothing short of great!

When I first planned my trip, I wanted to do a custom trip. Mahnaz responded right away with a proposed itinerary and price quote. He also guided me through the visa process, and I got my authorization code with plenty of time to spare.

The tour was great. We got to do almost everything we had planned on our itinerary, plus a few unplanned things. Ali was very flexible as a guide. Despite some restrictions on American and British tourists in Iran, we were free to do what we wanted.

Ali was a great guide. He speaks great English and is very fun to be around. He was also extremely friendly, not only to us, but to the taxi drivers, shopkeepers, museum staff, everyone we met. He is also very well-informed about Iran. He knows the country and its history very well. We went to a wide variety of places, and he was able to explain everything and answer any questions. He’s also very open and honest about Iran and what he thinks of it. He was a pleasure to be around.

In conclusion, I definitely recommend this company, and request a tour with Ali if you can. I literally have nothing to complain about from this trip; any problems that I had were beyond UpPersia’s control. I would book them again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Beautiful Trip

It did take some time to arrange and agree on the itinerary that we wanted however over all the company was very accommodating to our needs and interests.

If you do your own research you can pick and choose your own daily itinerary and the company will arrange this for you based on travelling times and reaching each destination or tourist attraction.

We are UK Citizens travelling to Iran for the first time and we’re unsure what to expect. We travelled Iran between 21/04/19-03/05/19. Our tour guide was Seyed AliMohammad Hosseini who was very informative and accommodating to our needs every step of the way.

Our experience in Iran was amazing!!! We were lucky to have a knowledgeable tour guide who knew history at the back of his hand.

The trip was well organised and there was no delays and no complications. After listening to media about Iran we were on the back foot and conscious but it’s the safest place we travelled to. People are very friendly, and some of the places we visited were astonishing.

Please note you should avoid travelling during the Iranian New Year Nowruz and also Ramadhan as most places would be closed and especially food places such as takeaways and restaurants so you would be restricted in eating.

Every tourist attraction we visited was an experience in itself. A must place to visit is “Ebrat Musem” (Tehran) as it gives a good feel what some of the people in Iran went through.

Also Isfahan - Naqsh-e jahan Square is perfect for anyone that’s into photography- there’s also a scholar who is English speaking - you are able to ask him any questions about Iran or the religion people follow. Any misconceptions about the religion or the people in Iran - it’s a chance to ask anything you want.

We would recommend this country to all who have the opportunity to visit Iran. It is definitely a must see country as the people the culture, religion and food is all amazing.

He arranged and accommodated everything we asked for every step of the way.

Breakfast at the hotels was very basic and the same everyday not much variety.

All the hotels booked for us were very nice clean and comfortable.
The only hotel I was a little unhappy with was the hotel which we checked into in Mashhad ( as they didn’t provide towels) and we had to buy our own. :(

All our meals were catered for as we requested or expected. However we missed the flavour of spices as we are used to eating spicy hot food and Iranian food is prettt bland in comparison.

We had no problems catching domestic flights and hiring a private driver each time via the tour agency.

We chose Uppersia because They provided us with the price and quote for our itinerary.

Iran is a beautiful and amazing country. A must to visit if any one has the chance
