Thanks to our lovely guide Ali, our 7 day tour of Tehran, Shiraz and Esfahan was wonderful.
We are on an extended bout of travelling and I have to say that Iran was amongst the most beautiful and friendliest of all the countries we have visited. Especially notable were the breathtaking mosques and the many incredibly welcoming people we got to meet and chat with.
Ali is an awesome guide. He is totally laid-back, patient and sweet, as well as extremely knowledgeable. He always went the extra mile to help us have the best, most interesting time.
More people should definitely visit Iran and highly recommend doing it with Ali

Our guide, Ali, was also extremely patient and went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted (I fancied 'kuku', an Iranian dish but couldn't find it, so when we were in Shiraz he went home and made me some!) Iran and its attractions are fabulous, the tour was very well organised and we did as much as possible in the week we had.
